Background

I have always had an affinity for art, color and design. The jobs I had always contained these elements. While raising my family, I installed wallcoverings for builders, designers, and individual home and business owners. I worked for an art gallery that was an Industry Foundation for ASID. In addition to selling art prints to other galleries, I designed framing for interior designers. Working in the flooring industry further expanded my knowledge of the home and construction industry. I later went to work in the décor department of Home Depot. I was a kitchen designer and received my Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer designation from the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 2005 and designed kitchens for Home Depot for 10 years. All these occupations required accurate measuring, estimating skills, an eye for color and detail as well as a concern for practicality. I listen well and work well with people and strive to meet customer needs. I expect these skills and experiences to be an asset to working in any number of working relationships.
